The Gerber LMF II Infantry is a rugged and versatile 10-inch fixed blade knife designed originally for military personnel and survival scenarios by veteran Jeff Freeman. Crafted with a partially serrated 420HC stainless steel blade featuring a drop point design, this knife excels at cutting through tough materials such as aircraft fuselage, seat belts, and Plexiglas, making it an indispensable tool in emergency escape and survival situations.

The blade length is 4.84 inches (12.3 cm) with an overall length of 10.59 inches, combining strength and precision in a balanced 330-gram tool. Its blade sports a durable black non-reflective coating to provide corrosion resistance and tactical stealth. The spine is sharpened at a 90° angle, enabling you to create sparks easily with a ferrocerium rod.

The handle is made from glass-filled nylon with a thermoplastic overmold for a solid, non-slip grip even in wet conditions. Thoughtful features include a pommel that can be used as a striker or hammering tool, and the handle is separated from the tang by a purposeful break that insulates the user from electric shocks and absorbs hammering impact.

The knife comes with a low-profile MOLLE-compatible ballistic nylon sheath that can attach seamlessly to tactical gear such as belts or vests, and includes an integrated blade sharpener for maintaining edge retention in the field.
