Courant Komora Climbing Rope

The Courant Komora climbing rope is designed for optimal performance in tree care applications. With a diameter of 11.7mm, it offers superior fluidity through mechanical descenders, ensuring smooth and efficient climbing operations.

Constructed with a reinforced 16-strand polyester sheath, the Komora provides excellent abrasion resistance, making it durable and reliable for frequent use. Its core is built using X-Braid parallel core technology, guaranteeing long-lasting flexibility and preventing core-sheath slippage.

Each Komora rope comes with a slim spliced eye, which is compatible with popular mechanical devices like the Petzl ZigZag. The patented in-eye labelling ensures traceability and meets the EN 1891:1998 Type A standards for safety and performance.

Key specifications include a breaking strength of 30kN, a weight of 94g/m, and an elongation of 2.5% between 50/150 kg loads. The rope's sheath percentage is 68%, and it features a knotability index of 0.82. The water shrinkage is minimal at 1%, ensuring consistent performance in various environmental conditions.

The Komora rope is available in different lengths and configurations, including this 20m version with a single splice. It is an excellent choice for arborists and climbers seeking a reliable and efficient climbing solution.
